The magnetiQ Wastewater Extraction Kit provides an efficient and high-throughput RNA/DNA from influent wastewater with light to heavy sludge content. Up to 10 mL can be processed with simple manual or semi-automated protocols in under 40 minutes.
The kit utilizes functionalized and differentiated magnetic functional particles for the concentration of the pathogen from a large sample volume and isolation of nucleic acid eluted. Pure RNA and DNA are concentrated into 100 ?L of elution buffer and can be used for microbial and pathogen detection, via qPCR, qRT-PCR and NGS depending on experimentation analysis needs.
