Volu-Sol's proprietary stain works at room temperature (no heating required) and yields results in two to three minutes. Target cells will hold their stain for up to 30 minutes in acid alcohol decolorizing solutions. This kit works well in the detection of Cryptosporidium. Counterstain kit options include Brilliant Green and Methylene Blue.
