PHCbi CytoGROW Multi-Gas Incubators
PHCbi MCO5M/19M series air jacketed multi-gas incubators provide precise CO2 and O2 levels control for optimizing a stable cell culture environment. The ergonomic design has a small footprint and allows multiple units to be stacked on top. As a research-grade cell culture incubator with inCu-saFe® and SafeCell UV integrated contamination control technology, the MCO5M/19M saves valuable space and is ideally suited for a variety of applications, including in vitro fertilization.
Preventive Contamination Control: inCu-SaFe® Technology PHCbi incubators’ inCu-saFe® copper-enriched stainless steel chamber engineered with rounded corners provides a consistent control over bacteria and other contaminant growth on the surface. Airborne and water contaminants in the water pan can also be eliminated by patented SafeCell UV, an automatic ozone-free ultraviolet lamp (optional accessory) that does not affect cell cultures.
Ergonomic Design The PHCbi CytoGROW series incubators provide optimal configurability with its low-profile and ability to be triple-stacked (MCO5M). The user-friendly access built in to the door-mounted control panel and a field reversible door that can be set up for right or left-swing door openings, allowing the use of your laboratory space more efficiently than ever.
Improved Temperature Stability with D.H.A. System - P.I.D. controlled 3-way heaters plus PHCbi’s proprietary D.H.A. (Direct Heat and Air jacket) provides a high-precision temperature environment, and minimizes the risk of condensation at all times.
Water Level Sensor - The humidity pan has an optical water level sensor to warn of low water level.
Automatic Gas Cylinder Switchover System - This system automatically switches from the primary to secondary gas cylinder when the O2 gas level does not change while an injection valve is open.
Active Background Contamination Control - The PHCbi provides one of the world’s first and only cell culture CO2 incubators to employ SafeCell continuous active background ultraviolet light sterilization in combination with the passive resistance of inCu-saFe® copper-enriched stainless steel interior chamber construction. This powerful combination prevents the development of mycoplasma and other contaminants without affecting cell cultures and without added downtime.
Heat Decontamination Not Required - Inhibits the growth of mycoplasma, bacteria, molds, yeasts and fungi without costly HEPA air scrubbers which accumulate contaminants in the chamber, or disruptive, high temperature decontamination schemes which can actually encourage growth of heat resistant thermophilic and hyperthermophilic microorganisms in vitro.
High Performance In Vitro Modeling - Stable temperature, humidity and CO2 density are achieved through a combination of performance systems supervised by a centralized microprocessor controller complete with alarm, programming, calibration and diagnostic protocols exportable to remote databases through optional communications ports for compliance monitoring.
