The BEEM® capsule holders are designed for use with BEEM® capsules. They are made from shock-resistant break-resistant plastic with 22 numbered cavities. The holders conveniently keep the capsules steady and upright during filling and they can be illuminated from below to make it more easy to obtain a particular orientation. The holes serve as light ports when working with a light box or some other form of backside illumination. They are made to be stackable for curing and storage and can even be used in an oven at normal microscopy/histology resin curing temperatures.
BEEM® also now has available this same capsule holder in a UV transparent plastic, hence it is now possible to carry out low temperature polymerizations using these UV transparent capsule holders.
