We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING, based out of our Markham, Ontario corporate headquarters. The ideal candidate will reside in the east part of the GTA or close to our Markham location.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will focus on increasing the company revenue and profit by directing staff while developing and maximizing strategic marketing and sales opportunities. This is accomplished by determining and achieving annual revenue and profit plans, leading the national sales and marketing staff and directing their activities, completing sales and marketing operational requirements, maintaining and developing relationships with customers, providing short and long-term market forecasts and reports, establishing sales objectives, and strengthening our corporate reputation.

Our ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • University Degree in Science and/or Business Administration
  • 8 years of Life Sciences or equivalent business experience, including 4 or more years of progressively more responsible sales management experience
  • Broad general knowledge of the medical device industry and the market served FDA and Health Canada medical device regulations
  • Thorough knowledge and on-going awareness of current industrial sales techniques and practices
  • Skills in general and strategic business management, results-oriented, innovative and visionary planning, analyzing and decision making, effective leadership, communications and customer relations.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a TERRITORY MANAGER based in the Greater Vancouver Area to cover half of British Columbia.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Territory Manager will focus on promoting and selling ESBE’s products and services, serving customers and building business by interacting with established customers and maintaining these relationships; identifying and developing new prospects; applying knowledge of ESBE’s services, products and marketing techniques; selling products; identifying and meeting customer needs and closing sales.

Our ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • MLT designation or BSc degree (Life Sciences preferred and MSc also welcome)
  • Three years successful experience as a Sales Representative, or in an inside sales or customer service position
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Good listening skills with logical thinking patterns
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Investigative thinking in order to identify customer needs
  • Problem solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel – local and overnight

We currently have a career opportunity for a BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, based out of our Markham, Ontario corporate headquarters.

You will be in charge of obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner and initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Receiving, processing and verifying the accuracy of orders from customers using the organization’s internal CRM/ERP systems and customer purchase orders
  • Respond to customers inquiries regarding quotes and orders
  • Communicating pricing and delivery information, if requested
  • Accessing the company’s ERP system to obtain and extract order information (backorder status, tracking numbers, delivery dates, lead times, etc.)
  • Providing product information, including possible product substitutions, technical assistance and broad service support, all in a timely and professional manner
  • Enter customer issues, authorizing product returns, clearly describing circumstances and reasons for return on Return Authorization records

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bilingual in French and English Post-secondary science degree or certificate
  • Excellent Computer skills -- Microsoft Windows (moderate), Word (Excellent), Excel (Basic) and internet navigation/search
  • Hands on Laboratory experience an asset
  • Customer Service experience an asset
  • Work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
  • Good listening skills with logical thinking patterns
  • Well organized with ability to juggle many projects simultaneously
  • Professional telephone etiquette
  • Aptitude for calming irate customers and building long-term positive customer relationships

We currently have a career opportunity for a BILINGUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUOTATIONS REPRESENTATIVE, based out of our St-Laurent (QC) office.

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Customer Service and Quotations Representative serves customers, support sales and marketing staff and secures contract business by providing timely and accurate quotations and coordinating contract business. You will also be in charge of obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner and initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Receive and process quote requests from customers, customer service, and sales/marketing personnel as per current procedures
  • Ensure all necessary ESBE personnel are notified of pending quotations within specified timelines
  • Check tender websites daily for the province of Quebec
  • Read tender documents and understand the terms and conditions that must be flagged for other team members to provide their input/responses
  • Provide professional responses to tenders, complete the forms accurately and meet deadlines as per current procedures
  • Maintain contract pricing and standing orders
  • Access the company’s ERP system to obtain and extract order information (backorder status, tracking numbers, delivery dates, lead times, etc.)
  • Enter customer issues, authorizing product returns, clearly describing circumstances and reasons for return on Return Authorization records
  • Complete translation of items pertaining to the ESBE website, marketing and/or training materials, as requested
  • Provide back-up support for order entry

EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED:

Post-secondary science degree or certificate and aptitude for mathematics
Fluent in French and English – oral and written
Must be able to understand the terms and conditions in tenders
Sound knowledge of word processing and database programs
Previous customer service / quotation coordinator experience an asset
Laboratory hands on experience an asset

Good time management skills – Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
